Science Foundation Year

See also the details in the online prospectus and on the Foundation Year page.

This one year course is designed for either mature or overseas students (non-EU students) who have not yet achieved the required level of qualification for direct entry to a Computer Science degree. In addition to providing the appropriate academic background for progression to the chosen degree course, this year gives the opportunity for developing essential study skills. For mature students, who have been away from education for a few years, this return to study can prove to be a rewarding experience.

Please note that by passing the Foundation Year you will automatically be offered a place on our degree programmes.

English Language tuition is available, where necessary, for overseas students.
