Rutland Water

Cold and wet walk from Oakham to the west bank of Rutland Water. It was rainy and windy, which made the water somewhat choppy. Seems a place with potential, but the nature engineering is a bit too much visible.

Highlights: Brent Goose (1 dark bellied specimen flying), the four grebe species, and the nice variety of ducks.
