Rothley can be reached by steam train from Loughborough, as well as by bus 125 (once per hour departure from Loughborough at xx.38 on Sundays.)

  16. Sand Martin Riparia riparia: About 150 over Cropston Reservoir and a similar number over Swithland Reservoir.

  19. White / Pied Wagtail Motacilla alba: 1 ex visiting the Black Tern floats in Cropston Reservoir.
