Forthcoming and recent submission deadlines (in reverse chronological order)

I am not planning to submit to all of these (indeed, it would be next to impossible) but I keep it both for myself and for general reference. Some events might be kept on the list past the deadline, until they are actually held. Other good places to go to are ILLC list of forthcoming conferences and ACM list of conferences. For 2012, see also Alan Turing Year Events. Other private lists are mantained by Iftah Gamzu, Tom Friedetzky or Derek Hao Hu; Erik Demaine's list of events looks like a valuable resource. In future, collecting deadlines and calls for papers should be automated via webpages like WikiCFP.
