- Shiokawa is a large tidal flat near TYOHASHI CITY and TAHARA-CHO, 
  which is SSE of Nagoya.

- Yatsu is a tidal flat between Tokyo and Chiba. 
  Observers: Atsushi Matsui (qzx06600@niftyserve.or.jp) and Fer-Jan de Vries
  Date April 6, 1997 

- Kasumigaura is the largest fresh water lake in Ibaraki. 
  Tozaki is few km NE of Tsuchiura.
  The area around Tozaki consists of muddy lotus fields.
