Solutions is seeking for software professionals to cover the following opening:
R&D SOFTWARE ENGINEER
(m/f)
The Role:
The successful candidate will be an exceptional
professional looking for challenges and rewarding opportunities in a
fast-growing company. He/she will join our expanding technology innovation team
involved in research and development of our next generation of software
reengineering solutions. Initially, this work will be developed in the context
of the Leg2Net project, an EU-sponsored partnership between ATX Software and
the University of Leicester (UK). The selected person will, therefore, relocate
to Leicester for a two-year period to acquire the necessary expertise on the
topic and actively participate in reengineering related research. He/she is
then expected to return to Lisbon to strengthen our senior R&D staff.
The Candidate:
- University degree in Computer
Science, Informatics, Mathematics or any Information Technology related
subject. A postgraduate degree will be considered as a plus.
- 4-years of relevant IT
experience in industry. Experience in a research-related position will be
considered as an advantage.
- Knowledge of specific
technologies such as OO programming languages and environments or Web
Technologies is not obligatory but will be considered as an asset.
- Very good command of the
English language.
- Ability and willingness to relocate
and travel outside Portugal for large periods of time.
- Ambitious, self-motivated personality, able to work both
independently and in multinational teams.
