AboutI am a PhD student in the Computer Science Department. My supervisor is Irek Ulidowski. I started my PhD in November 2013. I have been funded by the department via a Graduate Teaching Assistant position. I am now lecturer at De Montfort University, Leicester. If you want to know more about me, you can view my linkedin profile. ResearchMy research is about the application of process calculi to biologicial and chemical systems. What we can learn from these systems for distributed computing is another aspect of my work. My APG seminar slides give an idea of my research area. I have developed a novel calculus, called the Calculus of Covalent Bonding as the primary result of my research. TeachingI have a keen interest in teaching and have been teaching in the past at Universität zu Köln, FernUniversität Hagen and De Montfort University. As part of my GTA job, I assisted with teaching the following modules at Leicester University:
Other ActivitiesI have been working on various chemoinformatics projects including the Chemistry Development Kit, Bioclipse and JChemPaint. I maintain nmrshiftdb2. PublicationsA list of my publications can be found at ResearchGate. |
